Why?

FullSizeRender_VSCO.JPG

I’ve missed some of the most beautiful sights in my life — because I was asleep.

The first snowfall I ever saw? I was six. On a road trip. The camera was around my neck — an old film one, like most '90s kids had — but my eyes were shut.

The first time I crossed paths with a Royal Bengal Tiger? Fast asleep again, somewhere deep inside a safari jeep.

Maybe that’s where Sleeping Passenger began — in those quiet in-betweens.
In moments missed, but never forgotten.

Photography stayed with me. So did what my parents taught me — to always give back a part of what I earn, quietly, for the greater good.

I love to travel to new places, try local food, talk to people, and learn something new — something that shifts how I see the world, even if just a little. Most of the photographs on this site were captured during those moments — through my phone, camera, or GoPro.

This project is part of my Master’s thesis, shaped by everything I’ve learned — from Corporate Sustainability to Social Impact, Digital Marketing, New Product Innovation, and Managing Diversity. It’s a love letter to the arts, and a promise to give back.

Each sale made through this site contributes to six causes:

  • Cancer research

  • Education for orphans and street children

  • Support for individuals with Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy

  • Mental health initiatives

  • ESG-driven change

  • Disaster relief and recovery

75% of all sale proceeds are donated, equally split among these six causes.

At the end of this journey — on 31.07.2025 — the proceeds will be donated in full to six real-world organizations I will select in consultation with my thesis guide.

This isn’t just a website.

It’s a visual experiment, a social impact challenge, and a small act of remembering —
for all those Sleeping Passengers, who drift through life’s frames but leave behind meaning.
